The Friendly Loaf baker, Mark Proctor, and the whole team at The Friendly Loaf are delighted to have received an invitation to the prestigious Suffolk Parliamentary Food Show, which celebrates the finest Suffolk produce. Receiving an invitation is an honour only bestowed on Suffolk food producers deemed to provide the very best of what the county has to offer in terms of culinary produce.
The event, to be held on Wednesday 13th April, will be co-hosted by Matthew Hancock, Member of Parliament for West Suffolk. Approximately 350 distinguished guests are expected to attend including parliamentarians and parliamentary staff as well as members of the press. Guests will have the chance to discuss, celebrate and enjoy the finest Suffolk produce.
Two members of the team from The Friendly Loaf will attend the event – head baker Mark and his wife Karin. Mark says: “We are thrilled and honoured to have been invited to this special event and we cannot wait to showcase our bread and fly the flag for Suffolk too!”
The Friendly Loaf team are very much looking forward to the Suffolk Parliamentary Food Show and, in the meantime, Jo Churchill MP and Matthew Hancock MP will be tweeting about it and via the designated Twitter account @ShowoffSuffolk so feel welcome to keep up to speed with updates via those channels.
